Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a Canadian actress best well-known for her roles on the Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters and the Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda, and Voltea pa' que you are awestruck. Additionally, she dances and also models. She hails from Montreal however, she grew up and studied in Texas. The passion she has for dancing has been in her since childhood. She has been training in diverse styles of dance since she was young. When she was 15 years old, she began participating in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia was a hit for her participation in Nuestra Belleza Latina, the Univision pageant series. Her acting debut came in 2010, portraying receptionist on the Telemundo telenovela Aurora. She appeared in the 2015 action thriller Tattooed Love, her debut film. Trevor Morris, an SCDC prisoner was killed in an altercation with a fellow inmate. Trevor Morris had served 10 years of prison and was killed by stab wounds. The incident took place in the South Carolina Department of Corrections, Columbia, South Carolina. Trevor Morris was 27 old at the time of his death.
