D-J-Qualls

Donald Joseph Qualls, better called DJ Qualls is an American actor and producer as well as a fashion model. The actor gained notoriety for his role with Road Trip he has since appeared in over 20 feature films including The New Guy Hustle & Flow as well as The Core. He has also appeared in more than 22 television series including Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order among others. As a survivor of Hodgkin's Lymphoma, which he was diagnosed at age 14 Qualls is a fighter. Two years later, his cancer is now in Remission. The early treatment resulted in severe negative effects on the quality of his life and growth. Once he started acting as if financial security was his goal because it was the case that he experienced poverty all through his life. He said "I've had a very low-cost lifestyle for so many years that I'm desperate for financial security, or it will be a nightmare for me." He also recalls his own childhood and wants to do something about the problem of the bullying. Cruelty breaks my heart he says. DJ's ideal position is to become a father both in reel, as well as on the real world. However, he admits that directors will not cast him in those roles. Someday he would love to be a father himself in the future, when he could be capable of dedicating less time for his job and more to his child.
